How do you glorify, praise, and worship God?

Surrender to Him so that it is no longer I, but He who lives through me/us ...
How do you tell others that you care about them? I like to publicly acknowledge what God does for me and Gary.
Here's something that probably seems really small. Gary is using crutches right now. I brought Gary home during pouring rain. When the rain cleared, he discovered a crutch was missing a washer and some kind of nut that looks like Mickey Mouse ears. I think he said it was a wing nut. These items are between 1/4-1/2 inch in size. A couple little pieces probably doesn't seem like that much, but Gary broke his ankle, and it's healing right now. I searched around the house.
Saturday I bought groceries. I was bringing in the food, and I looked down. There on the sidewalk was the missing pieces in the open, no leaves covering that spot. We have leaves on our sidewalk and porch. Gary said...How did you find those tiny pieces! Well, that would be God's help. Without God, that wouldn't have happened. IMO He cares about the big things and the little things. We thanked God and gave Him praise. We acknowledged who helped us. God appreciates recognition as much as you and I like recognition for something we did.
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (Revelation 22:1 NIV)
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. (Job 1:6 KJV)
In Revelation the river of life flows from the throne of God. When I think about it, the hosts of heaven come before God to worship him. Never mind satan, we're not talking about him right now. If you want to understand worship better, watch a river. Sometimes it's quiet like prayer. The river can be crystal clear and seem as if it's standing still. The water is transparent, and you can see the river bed. Think about how prayer gives us transparency with God. We bear our hearts. Other times, the river flows quickly. If the water is deep enough, it can thunder and roar. Worship can get joyful and noisy. Have you ever heard the waves lapping on the side of a boat? Or have you heard a river flow over stones. It's musical, and it makes a clapping sound. The hosts of heave can sing and clap. Maybe on the riverbank there's a few trees. Have you ever heard the wind blowing through the trees? They're clapping. We are heavenly citizens now. We are in the river that flows from the throne of God just like the hosts of heaven. Watch the river.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:12 NIV)
Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy. (Psalm 98:8 NIV)
Love,
Mary O
