Hello.
I feel very lost and confused for some reason. I know God has a plan for me and my life. I know HIS plan is perfect. How do I know I am not missing it? How do I know if the situation I am in right now, is where HE wants me to be? I love HIM so much, am I just not hearing HIM? I am very blessed, more then I will ever deserve! I keep thinking there has got to more for me. I am not happy in my relationship right now, and I am really not sure if this is where HE wants me to be. How do I know? How do I make sure I dont miss HIM speaking to me? Thank You!

Victoria, that's a truly great question. One that we should all ask, for certain.
My thought is: we ought to be asking Him first (I'm sure you are), in prayer. Next we ought to be diligently searching scripture. Third, is to seek wise counsel. And then to be totally open to what we learn.
Romans 12:1-2 indicates that we learn to discern the will of God for our lives as we do two things: a) consecrate ourselves to God and b) renew our minds in the truth of scripture. In other places we are admonished that God's will for our lives is to walk humbly with him and to obey his word. In still other places, we are told that the will of God for our lives is to pray in the spirit at all times and to learn to live in the joy of our salvation.
God promises us that he will be our shepherd, our guide, our lamp to walk by in darkness. In other words, we don't always know what's around the next corner, or what is the ultimate game plan. Sheep don't read the Shepherds Guide to greener pastures, pilgrims don't know where they are going without the guide and a lamp is only good for a few steps forward.
What we do have the comfort of knowing is that if we are pursuing our relationship with him, eagerly listening to (and doing) his word, we will have a life of adventure and fulfillment. Not a life of ease, nor a life without challenges - for some of Jesus' main promises for believers is that "in this life you will have tribulation" and "all who live Godly in Christ will be persecuted". But, I believe that a life of Godly purpose will transcend all of that.
Blessings, and by the way: I am convinced that the way God prepares us for new things is to make us hungry for more or his purposes and a deeper walk with him.

Hi Victoria,
Sometimes with God there are quite days, but do not worry or doubt, the Lord knows about you.
Ultimately he is seeking people who want to understand him greatly so that once he has been firmly understood and obeyed, then that person will become a type of instrunment for the Lord to use.
All this take time, it takes time to become the person God wants you to be.
Continue with the Lord and as you do this his ways and his will, will become clearer to you.
May God bless you.

Prayer makes us more closer to God. Prayers prepares our heart and mind to recognize His works and dealings.
Holy Spirit teaches us about His words and His thoughts. We need to know His words to know His will and purpose for our life.
We need to go and be involve where He is working like church, fellowships and alike. Keeping yourselves away from Gods ministry is like a piece of wood taken out from the bonfire, by time will slowly be out of fire. No ministry No maturity. If you want to grow in your Christian life, don't just be SSS ( Saved, Sit and Satisfied ). Be involve...
" Seek ye first and all this things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33. Devil destroys but God restores and build. tnx
Victoria,
I think that the best way to find God's will for our lives is to study the Word of God which is His Will for all people. As we are learning what His written will for us is, we will see other things that He wants us to do. Pray without ceasing and make Christ the center of your life. Keep Him there at all times. As you obey His written will, all else will open to you.
Blessings,
Rita
