Hard times. A Baptism

Hard times are A good thing.  

As believers in Jesus Christ, we can trust our Savior and turn to him in hard times. God cares for us and he is sovereign. His Holy Word is sure and his promises are true.

Psalm 46:1 
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. (NIV)

Psalm 84:2-4 
My soul yearns, even faints, 
for the courts of the LORD; 
my heart and my flesh cry out 
for the living God.

Psalm 27:4-5

One thing I ask of the LORD, 

this is what I seek: 
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD 
all the days of my life, 
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD 
and to seek him in his temple. 
For in the day of trouble 
he will keep me safe in his dwelling; 
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle 
and set me high upon a rock.

Hard times are symbolic of baptism.  You go under the water with all of you worries and sin and feel like you're drowning.  You come up new and white as snow.  Full of joy from the Lord.  

God gives us our trials and tribulations to strengthen us.  Praise him for them.  He has given us hard times as a gift so that we may learn from it.

Concerning Marriage:  If you are going through hard times in marriage, remember that God is  giving you council right now.  God is against anything that tries to undo what he has joined together.  He gives us trials and hardships so that we might learn to be better husbands and wives.  Learn from your hard times.  

What God has joined, Let nobody separate.
