What if every Christian prayed for the temptation of sin to be taken away? And what do you think would happen if God answered that prayer?

The God-given spirit in me as a Genuinely Born Again Christian is ALWAYS WILLING not to fall into sin. But...my SINFUL Flesh is not willing to follow my spirit all of 24/7. That's my problem. That was the Apostle Paul's BIG problem also. James 1:2: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
The Creator God put FREE WILL into Adam and Eve, the very first human beings. Even though both were INFINITELY HOLY and blameless when Satan approached Eve...what happened? Eve chose to use her free will to DISOBEY God and then enticed Adam to do the same. Adam could have easily REFUSED to eat of the forbidden tree, but he didn't because the "PULL" to sin was too strong to refuse, even while he did not know what sin meant. No wonder God said: The Spirit is willing but the flesh is WEAK! We need to remember that it was to Adam that God said "do not eat of the tree". Eve had not even been created at that time. Btw, I believe that Adam and Eve were created in a 24 hour period. So it means that Satan tempted Eve the same day. And Eve enticed Adam the same day.
No matter how many human beings pray, God will never take away temptations to sin from mankind. Here's why! James 1:
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
========================Patients is a SAINTLY virtue in God's eyes. So...why would God take away temptations to sin and thereby take away Patients from His chosen people aka Genuinely Born again Christians. I used the word GENUINELY here because according to 1 Cor. 15: 2 "talks" about a VAIN belief being possible in some so-called christians whom I call CHURCH-ians.
