Yes I do but can I say verses because these two go hand in hand for me:
Isa 49:16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are always before Me.
I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5
Why?
One day I was despaired and went into my closet and prayed - I was pouring out my heart to the Lord - sharing my fears - just treating Him as I would a friend - dumping on Him I guess - luckily He is big enough to take it - hehe!
I rose up from the prayer with peace in my heart and opened my devotion for that that and the two scriptures I have posted above where part of the devotion for that day.
But as is always with my beautiful King He did not leave it there. I immediately had to go out with my family and that was the reason why I was in the closet pouring my heart out to God because I did not have the energy to be a mummy or a wife that day nor do what they wanted to do. But I mustered up the courage and walked out of the house and got into the car - smiled bravely at the kids and Rod and off we went. The day was beautiful - we had lunch out and coffee in a real coffee shop and even did a little shopping. My dizziness seemed to abate some and I was feeling as good as I get - haha! In the shopping ventures I walked into a little op shop (secondhand shop) and was looking through some things when my son came up to me and asked me to look at a plauge that he had found. I took the plauge from his hands and guess what it was - only a picture could describe it - so here it is:
It is not particularly beautiful (even though I tried to gold leaf it to jazz it up) but it or should I say the Father touched my heart that day with that plauge and everytime I look at it in the entrance hall as I come and go I think of that special moment when He told me that He has inscribed me on the palms of His hands and He will never leave me.
Rom 8:28 And we know that [fn] God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Why?
Because I am remined of God's Sovereingty in this verse. God is in control.. He has continually shown me in my life.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Pro 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
Pro 3:8 It will be healing to your [fn] body And refreshment to your bones.
Why?
Because I know that I don't have to rely on myself..or my own understanding. i can trust in the Lord and HE will guide me.. Amen!
Isa 41:10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
Why?
i was crying out to God last year...praying ..Why me God??? I was crying, weeping...desperately looking around myself for answers during an incredibly difficult time.. My doorbell rang and I was not going to answer the door. But the Holy Spirit would not leave me alone, and after wrestling back and forth on whether to answer the door or not, I finally answered it. There was a lovely sister in Christ standing there--a stranger to me--she was handing out calendars from her church.. We talked for a long while..and she gave me this bible verse. I got the chills (good chills) because I knew in that moment that God had heard my prayer and sent this sister in Christ to encourage me in a unique way.

LT,
I was waiting on yours. How do you pick out a verse? I remember this verse as a young pastor visiting the Assembly of God headquarters in Springfield, MO with a huge picture of Christ with this verse. It really had an impact:
Rv 19:11-14 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. NIV
Here comes Jesus to fulfill His promises to His people. I would not want to be in His way on that day.
Another verse you will find me quoting often that completely changed my life came from our Lord as He comforted my soul:
Jn 6:37-40 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. NIV
I could barely believe what I was reading. How many times had I read these verses without really seeing them? Instantaneously I knew I belonged to Him. I melted in His presence. I could not speak for some time.
I am probably like you in that I have many but these are a couple.
Great input all. To ask for just one is almost impossible :-)
I have three that tie together for my life.
2CO 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (Thank you Lord Jesus)
COL 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Amen for your indwelling presence)
PHP 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Praise God I am still a work in progress)
I have been changed by Him, am indwelt by Him and I am not a finished product yet, God is still at work.
No no no I post them all the time. I thought you knew me bro. :( Here you had me fooled thinking you actually read what I write, but I C how it is.... hhahaha
These two verses have been my favorite verses of the bible since becoming born again and the ones I most often quote. It amazes me how God can place so much beautiful truth in few words. It blows my mind the amount of teaching these two verses have. When I quote them I verily scratch the surface of them, but there is precious truth in them.
John 8:31-32 (New International Version)
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Who is speaking here?"Jesus said"The perfect one, the Alpha and Omega, the Holy one, the creator of heaven and earth, Our King, Lord and Savior. Wow!!!! The one that cannot lie.
1. If you hold to my word/teaching - condition
What does it make you?
2. you are really my disciples.
What will happened then?
you will know the truth. What truth? The truth about everything pertaining to God and Godliness.
And then what happens?
3. the truth will set you free.
Free from what? From everything that wants to keep you down and enslaved.
Break Free with the Word.
The Christian life is to be the best life any human can have on earth. Paul even with all the trials and tribulations would have not change a bit of it. Christianity is exciting, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. GOD MAKES US BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (of course then there me, hahahaha a knuckle head, but don't be a knuckle head hehe).
Too many to count accurately, so I'll give a short version, but Beatitudes has Always stuck w me, and "There is no greater love than a man lay down his life for another,..." & Hinder not the little children come unto me for the kingom of heaven is for just such as these....No one shall enter the gates, unless He come through me; as well as
Psalms 91:11,
Psalms34:19,
Phill. 4:6-7,
So many.... Its difficult frome to remember the verses for them all, I hope you can forgive me as my mind is getting younger lol
Praise God for His Unending Love....

Philippians 4:13 - I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me
This is one of my favorite verses. I sometimes look at the pressures I am under, the mountains God asks me to climb, the burdens He asks me to bear, and I say to myself ..How can I possibly cope?...I cannot do this... I’ll fall flat on my face...And then I realize that I don’t have to do it all by myself. He will get me through..and He does. HE IS AWESOME!
