All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

My Great Grandmother is Jewish and she is very passionate about her religion, but my great grandfather is Christian. With an odd coupling like this, (They celebrate Hannukah and Christmas and they like both holidays.) will either of them go to Hell?

Charlie,

The answer to your question is the same regardless of whether the person is Jew or Gentile.

What have they done with Jesus Christ, for no religion can save anyone from hell. Only Jesus can do that.

JN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

JN 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

RO 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

RO 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

RO 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

JN 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "

JN 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

AC 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

So the real question is not what religion do they practice, but are they born-again believers in Jesus Christ. Find the answer to that question regarding them and you will find the answer as to where they are headed.

Lord Bless,
