Why is it so difficult for Christians to unite. Why do we sit around and do nothing to protect our Christian heritage ?

Unity in the church is really possible if we will love others more than ourselves.

United inspite of non agreeable on non agreeable things like preference but if the doctrine is involve surely even the in AAG

we will not be agreeable.  We have one God, one baptism and one Spirit, WHY WE CAN'T UNITE? because even our belief in one God is not agreeable, one baptism is not agreeable, one spirit is not agreeable. If christian will agree on that three surely we will be united. usually who stays at church is one that agrees with you, if you don't agree you get out of the church. We don't use same word of God. is there any hope? FAITH  LOVE AND HOPE... YES there is HOPE if there is LOVE.... have FAITH brother.... the Lord is not yet finish with any of us.....

It's hard to have "unity" in a humanistic society that tells people how important they are as individuals.

Food for thought.

Very Good!

It sounds to me like your saying (in a roundabout way) that we should just love other Christians more than we love our own ideology about what determines true Christianity..............And I agree with you!

"The greatest of these is Love."— 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Michelle, I should add this...The Lord judges our hearts and not our ideology. The things that you wrote show everyone that your heart is seeking to love others first; over and above any religious differences you may or may not have. I believe you are on the path of divine wisdom in this matter.

Many wonderful Blessings to you in the name of Jesus.

What would be the basis of my growth in this AAG community?

the Bibblical way or what would be best suited for me?

Base on experiences or base on Gods word?

Bible is the lone guideline of christian life but it seems its what we want and need is still what matters.

Why in the world our Lord Jesus Christ established the CHURCH? For land mark or fellowship or a place of worship?

Do we contribute to the extinction or rebuilding of our heritage?

Hi Larry,
I don't know if the Lord ever intended for all these buildings called "churches" to be built. Remember that the original "church" was the body of Christ where Jesus was the head and we as believers made up the body. The way Jesus describes it, the church is more like a spiritual linking up of believers rather than a physical location. I thought he said that church was "where" we gathered. Where, can be anywhere if we take Christ at his word? To my way of thinking we are having "church" right now since right now in this moment in time "two or more of you (which is us) is gathered (online) in my name (The name of Jesus)". Are we not in church right now? ---- I may be wrong so feel free to correct me on this anyone. ------

God Bless you Raul! By the way, great topic you started here! Love it! --- (((clapping sound))) ---

Unity is possible but there will always be differences. I love the same God as everyone here but I know not everyone holds the same theology regarding interpreting Genesis (for example)

Hi Darth, that is an interesting point. But does your point suggest that there is one true interpretation of Genisis, or does your point mean that no interpretation is any better or worse than the other? Since God is truth and there is only one truth, than would that not mean there is only one true interpretation of Gods Word? ---- Example: If Jesus says that it is wrong to kill than isn't war wrong also? How about if our Nations survival depends on going to war? Does Jesus allow exceptions to killing if done in warfare? Or is Jesus pure love and his will accepts no compromise? ---

I mean no one interpretation is better or worse than the other

One day big churches building will be closed, transfer to much smaller place. sign board hanging outside saying " Please visist our website www./.............................com. Christian is staying at home much safer and big savings, sitting in front of the computer and good music playing by the side. Time is in their hands. no more waiting for the long preaching of the pastor which exceeded only 30 minutes while other events it woulkd be ok except in the church. Never mind sunday is for the Lord.

never mind the meeting together at temple courts and fellowship of believers. Let the new believers be added to the invisible church.

Christians can go on line on short time or the whole day but in the church always looking for the time to finish the service. Never mind the Lord suffer and the other stuff. Who can tell on the net, if anyone of us really a member of the invisible church? God can see of course. Hope and pray to God  that things like that is still far from happening but it slowly getting there. Just my thought brethren. i'm open for open rebuke my brethren...tnx
