Because of the Cross

Because of the death of Jesus on the cross, I have come into fellowship with a living, loving God who has my best interest at heart, because of the cross, my sins have been cancelled, I have been set free. I am free to love, to live, and to enjoy life. I am no longer bound by sin, my scars are covered by the precious blood of my redeemer, Jesus Christ. He is my Lord, and my savior, in him, I have found rest for my weary soul. I have found acceptance in the beloved.

In him, I am complete. He loves me with a love that is stronger than death. Nothing on this earth, or under the earth can seperate me from his love. He watches over me with a watchful eye, always working on my behalf, to draw me closer to the Father, to mold me into His Image. I cooperate with Him, by confessing my sins, and willingly choosing to obey His precepts, that are set forth in His word. I choose to be obedient to Him, and to offer up my life as a sweet smelling sacrifice daily. I choose to love those around me, and to forgive those who abuse me, who intentionally hurt or harm me, I loose them so that this same forgiveness, grace and mercy may come to their lives.

This is His requirement for what He has done for me. I own him nothing, yet I choose to freely give Him everything. I have found life in Him, and there is no turning back. I have found love in Him , that quiets my restless soul. I have found a future and a hope in Him, who is now my everything. He is my healer, and the one that sticks closer than a brother. He sits at the right hand of the Father, ever making intercession for me.He holds the key to death, hell and the grave, and He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He surrounds me with His love, and His tender mercies are fresh and new every morning.

He sits high, and He looks low. I am the apple of his eye, and He cares for me, just like a loving mother cares for her infant child, He is on my side, and ever with me. His love knows no limits, and is available to all. He shows no partiality, and what he will do for one, he will do for any who come to Him, seeking His forgiveness, and desiring His healing power to work in thier lives. If you are reading this and have not found this great love, begin today to seek him, with all your heart, mind , soul and body, and he will be found of you. Seek Him in spirit and in truth, seek Him thru His word, as it reveals who He is to an unbelieving world.

The doubt and unbelief can be removed, by seeking Him, He is willing and able to do this for each one. We cannot come to Him, unless He first draws us by His spirit, however, if you have a desire to find him, that desire has come from Him. All you have to do is to pursue it, and little by little the light will come in to dispell the darkness that has had residence in your soul, freeing you, to be all you can be...in Him.

Father, I pray for those who you are drawing unto yourself, I ask for your protection over their lives, I ask for the desire on their part to find you to grow stronger and stronger, until they are in right relationship with you. I ask for their needs to be met in You, and for them to be able to find the release that you so willingly give. Touch hearts and souls for your Kingdom, and bring those in who are on the fence, trying to decide what they ought to do. Help them to find their way. Let your light and love shine in. Bring the forgiveness that they need, renew their hope, heal their woundedness, and mend what is broken. Thank you for every good and perfect gift that comes from above. Amen.
