We know  God's gift to the world...............He gave us John 3:16.

Present ourselves. Very true. For really, we come into His presence with nothing in our hands to give. We come to Him in our great and tremendous need and by His grace we receive from Him the very things that only then are we able to give Him. It just seems to me this morning that saying I can give God anything at all is making it about me when it's all about Jesus, always, and about what Jesus has done and is still doing for us.

Glory

In Christ’s birth in Bethlehem, God jumped down into the hole of humanity to show us the way of life. That’s why I can say with confidence that God loves you.  That’s your Christmas gift from God.  Open it up and enjoy it.

The life we’re called to live is a life given over to Jesus as both Savior and Lord.  It’s a life of using the gifts we have, even though they may seem meager to us, to bathe the darkness of the world in the light of Christ.

God  longs to have his love, as incarnated in his son Christ, dwell in our hearts and reach out through our lives.  Every time we love the unlovable; every time we feed the hungry; every time we care for the lonely; every time we stand up for the poor; every time we share the good news with those not yet saved, we are bearers of the light of Christ.

I believe that's our calling.  All we need now is the will to love others with the love of Christ.  Will we?

Good Word Colby.  Very poetic ...and true.

Colby my Brother,

Very well put..........

All things keep coming back to God giving us His Son........unto salvation for those who receive Him.....completing the cycle............. or circle of love.

Excellent word picture......loving the unloved, feeding the hungry, caring for the lonely, standing up for the poor, sharing the Word with those who are unsaved............that's the world, isn't, Colby.

After listing acts such as those mentioned above, Our Lord and Savior says in Matthew 25:40, "And the King will answer and say to them, "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me." (N.A.S.B.).......................Living Christmas all year long.

Grace and Peace to one and all.
