According to "New Testament times and customs."
Joseph would have taught his son the same trade that he practiced.
Luke chapter 2 gives highlights of his life as a child.
Apocryphal books also tell some stories of Him as a child, but these books have never been accepted as part of the New or Old Testament canon. Hence the name: "Apocrypha" (Writings or reports not considered genuine.)
To add anything else regarding the life of Christ as a child would be pure speculation.
