Many times, problems with friend requests, inabilily to view one's Ning inbox, and other items not appearing on certain pages are temporary in nature. They can be caused by a slow internet connection, trouble with the Ning engine (that we cannot do anything about), or using a non-Internet Explorer browser. Most of these problems, however clear up on their own. If you are still having problems after a few hours try the following:
1. Delete your temporary internet files (browser cache) and cookies.
2. Close your internet browser.
3. Wait a couple hours before logging in again.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Make sure you are using IE and not Firefox, Safari or another type of browser.
If after 24 hours and your page is still not displaying correctly. Report the issue to TheNET administrator.
